Miami—October 19, 2016— Armor Correctional Health Services, Inc. (Armor) announces the promotion of Don Morgan to Vice President of Program Development.

His experience and depth of knowledge positions him to achieve Armor’s critical goals,” said Kenneth Palombo, Armor’s Chief Operating Officer. “Since joining Armor in 2007 as Director of Strategic Planning and Marketing, he has made a valuable contribution to our team, and most importantly, to the patients and communities we serve. Many of our clients have also expressed confidence in his advice and counsel on strategic issues.”
Morgan’s many years of experience in health care management and community behavioral and health care planning has also lent support to Armor’s marketing and operations teams. In addition to overseeing discharge planning and community relations/program development, Morgan is also a strategic partner with business development and marketing.
His new role will include regular site visits, training and collaborating directly with site leadership on strategy, best practices, reentry support, and collaborating with operations on retention of contracts. He will also work with other department heads on strengthening community provider partnerships; and to research and analyze products, technology and services that improve the quality and continuity of care.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Health Care Administration from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
