While the Los Angeles Art Show was in full swing over the weekend, the fair’s planned purchase by Art Miami LLC came to an abrupt end. The art fair company is dropping its plans to purchase the fair from the Fine Art Dealers Association, organizers announced late Friday afternoon. “Despite the best efforts of both parties, an agreement on final contractual details could not be reached,” they said in an e-mailed statement.
