Gourmet supermarket The Fresh Market is slated to open at the new CityPlace Doral mixed-use development May 24 at 8 a.m.
It will be the Greensboro, North Carolina-based chain’s fourth Miami-area location and its 46th store in Florida. The Fresh Market has 175 stores nationwide.
Its newest store will begin a multiday grand opening celebration at 3580 N.W. 83rd Ave. in Doral at 7:30 a.m., which will include chef demonstrations, in-store sampling, live entertainment, special deals and giveaways through May 28.
Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez will make an appearance at the store on its opening day, May 24 and the first 1,000 shoppers will receive free reusable bags.
CityPlace Doral was developed by The Related Group and Shoma Group and has 250,000 square feet of retail space; 40 dining, shopping and entertainment venues and 400 luxury residences.
