WebCongress, a digital marketing and media conference that has taken the world by storm, will be taking place at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami on November 7th and 8th. This unique conference that originated in Spain has now expanded its reach to many countries throughout the world and, for the second time, has decided to incorporate Miami’s entrepreneurial and tech communities into its global mix.
The core of the conference is packed with workshops and international speakers — including a session on Google Glass and a speech by a 13-year-old CEO and game developer who is becoming a European sensation. Sessions lead by heavy hitters such as YouTube, Google, Facebook, ESPN, Blackberry and Microsoft kick off the conference. The second portion of the event is filled with local Miami talent, what WebCongress is calling the “Unconference” portion of the event.
A very special new addition to this year’s WebCongress Miami is the event’s tie-in with TigerDirect’s Second Annual Tech Bash. The Miami Tech Summit and Holiday Bash takes place in Marlin Stadium, will allow vendors to announce new products, and do pre-release demonstrations for an anticipated 10,000 attendees. Attendees are encouraged to spend the daytime of November 7th at WebCongress and then continue on to the Tech Bash in the evening for a look at the great exhibitors. The pair of events will cement Miami’s place as a technology hub for the Americas.
