The Fairchild Coconut Grove is gearing up to become the only waterfront luxury condominium in development when it’s expected to break ground early next year.

Developed by ROVR Development and located at 3581 Glencoe Street–just south of Mercy Hospital–the five-story boutique, mid-rise condominium is on the site formerly housing Bay Colony Condominiums. It will have just 26 units, with prices starting at $1.4 million.

Max Strang is the architect with interiors by Rafael de Cárdenas, Maison & Objet Americas’ 2016 Designer of the Year.

“Retaining its calm and tranquil nature, Coconut Grove has quietly become one of the most desired destinations to live in the United States,” said Oscar Rodriguez and Ricardo Vadia, principals of ROVR Development. “A host of iconic innovators, pioneers, artists and adventurers have called the Grove home since its founding. Today, that rich history is evidenced by its composition of residents and distinguishable architecture and design. The Fairchild will pay homage to this elegant past while elevating its bright future.”
