In the latest compilations of America’s most expensive and most affordable “beach towns” a couple South Florida cities made appearances.

Deerfield Beach cracked Realtor’s list of the 10 most affordable beach towns, coming in at No. 4, with a median home price of $157,900. On the other end of the spectrum was the posh island of Key Biscayne, which ranked seventh on the high-end list with an eye-opening median home price of $1.7 million.

The study focused on median home prices in beach towns with 1,000 to 100,000 residents and at least 30 homes on the market. Each list was limited to two towns per state, separated by at least 30 miles.

Two other Florida cities joined the party.

Anna Maria, located on the west coast, was the 10th priciest beach town while Daytona Beach cracked the most affordable list at No. 8 with a median home price of just under $200,000.

As you can see in the maps below, Malibu ($3.95M) paced the nation and Atlantic City ($117.5K) brought up the rear.
